The Way of the Heart

In the spring of 2023, I wrote this poem after having a deep experience that the way of the new world lies in the way of the heart. For long the harshness of the mind has reigned our lives and the world around but the new world calls for softness, gentleness, kindness and a fierce, blazing love!
The Way of the Heart is soft
Sparkles of light,
Soft, soft, soft.
The Way of the Heart is gentle
Waves of laughter
Gentle, gentle, gentle.
The Way of the Heart is kind
Pocketful of treasures,
Kind, kind, kind.
The Way of the Heart is love
Pure love, just
Love, love, love.
May I carry this heart in me,
Soft, gentle and kind,
May I carry this heart in me,
Full of love, love, love.
May I know this heart in you,
Soft, gentle and kind
May I know this heart in you,
Full of love, love, love.
May we together create an Earth,
Soft, gentle and kind,
May we together carry her Heart
Full of love, love, love.
